The school gives every student a prediction number, showing how likely they are to “misbehave”. As the scores go up and down, kids start comparing, avoiding and trying to second-guess the system. Only Ezra notices the algorithm bias: it’s not fair. So he presses reset to remind us that people aren’t predictions, and no number can measure who we are.
